After enrolling as a member, setting up LRP Orders on your own, or trying to guide someone else through the process for the first time can be rather confusing.
How many times have you already said “ohhh I’ll do it later” or “I’ll just call in.” Well, you will be missing 100% Shipping Rewards if you don’t do it online!!! That’s free points!
Fret no more because we decided to do the work and break it down step by step & visually for all learners on how to setup LRP orders.
If you discussed setting up an LRP order for points, or to receive Oil of the Month freebies, etc. then you will start from the top. If you just want to purchase without setting up an LRP then proceed to the heading: Internet Order towards the bottom of the page.

How to Set Up LRP Orders via doTERRA Office
For fluency: Open this guide up side by side your doTERRA acct to follow along and complete each step as you go.
- Go to www.doterra.com Clicking will open up a new window/tab.
- To log in enter your Member ID and Password.
- You will automatically be on the main page. Here, on the right-hand side click CREATE NEW LRP ORDER. This is where it will also show your upcoming order date, the total, and how many points you have.
- A window will pop up for you to select either a NEW LRP ORDER or ONE TIME ORDER.
- New LRP Order: a monthly auto-ship order with products of your choosing (which you’ll want to go in and change each month before it processes unless you want the same thing every month ie. supplements). Only need one and can edit that one, or you can have multiple orders. Will earn points on this one.
- ONE TIME ORDER: As it states, this order is a one-time thing and does not earn any rewards points.
Since we’re creating a NEW LRP Order, select that.
A calendar window will pop up.
Choose the date for which you want your order to process every month. This can be changed as long as you get in at least 2 days beforehand.
Then click on Save Date and Shop. The calendar will disappear for you to begin adding items to your cart.
- doTERRA’s new site has made it much more simple to be able to shop for products. You can do so by selecting from the drop-down under Shop Products or by simply clicking on any of the categories below.
- Go ahead and select all the items you would like to have shipped to you that month. Once you’re done, mouse over the cart button and click on Review Loyalty Order. It will then take you to this page. If you missed an oil or product and want to add it, you can type it in the box shown by the blue arrow below.
- If everything looks good, scroll down to the bottom to add shipping, card, and shipping type info.
- Once that’s complete, scroll back up to the top and make sure your subtotals are correct as well as the date. Then click either Proceed to Checkout (will require you to checkout now), Save and Process on __ (the future date you want the order to process).
- CONGRATS! You just successfully created your LRP order!
Now… Some LRP Things to know and remember:
To edit your LRP Order: Login to your account and under Scheduled LRP Order click on Edit LRP Order. You can change this at any time, but only up to the day before it’s set to process.
To view how many points you have earned/to use: this will be in the red circle when viewing your order.
To use your points: if points are available, under the Use Points box in blue will be drop downs to select to use points for that product. (if you select to use points you will have to checkout that day).
Product PV: blue arrows will show how many PV a product has and will go towards the 125pv Free Product qualification, 100pv to receive commissions, minimum 50pv to earn any points on the order at all (you’ll note my sample order below does not qualify).
Order Summary: shows the total of your order.
Subtotal PV: the number of points for that order.
Est. Shipping Pts: the number of points headed to your account for product based on your shipping preference.
Est. Loyalty Pts Earned: the estimated amount of points you will earn for that order.
Refunds: if you ever return anything and a refund is issued, before checking out or saving your order, scroll all the way down to the bottom by credit card info and select the box to apply $ refund to your order, if any.
Commissions: in order to earn commissions you must order 100pv+ in products. But weigh it out and see if it’s worth it this time! Yes, you help your upline and team with orders, but their success depends on YOUR success and if you feel expected or committed to order and you just really can’t, it would be taking two steps back and robbing yourself of success. Even a tiny good decision in the right direction is a successful one 😉 doTERRA is not about putting you in a tough position to grow your business or personal collection of goodies. Sometimes you can, and sometimes you can’t – that’s life and it’s ok!
What if I don’t need anything one month or can’t afford it…
If you are unable to spend the minimum $50 to earn points etc., you don’t have to.
However, in order to keep your current points, and maintain the % earned back in points from past purchases, you HAVE to get something with at least 1pv point. And really that’s ok!
I have honestly done this several times just to keep my 30% return on points when I do have those bigger orders. It’s worth it. So, here are some ideas to get the order in to keep all the benefits:
- Get something you’ve never tried before that has the lowest pv. Is there a friend, family member, acquaintance, peer who has wanted to try something but hasn’t yet? Now’s their chance! Remind them you’re putting your order in ask if they’d like anything. Use it as the order and they buy it from you! See 🙂
- If you’re sharing as a business… grab a Wild Orange as a gift giveaway, for sample bottles, or some sample packs.
- How about a birthday gift, friend gift, anniversary, baby shower, bridal shower, LOVE gift! Who couldn’t benefit from a $10 Lemon, $10 Wild Orange or $8 OG Toothpaste!?
The way I see it, you’re getting those shipping points back anyways so hey… share the gift of loving oils!
Purchasing one item with 1pv+ will keep your account active, keep your points, hold you at your % rate, and you get to do a little something nice for someone else or treat yourself. Click on save changes and you’re good to go!
If you ever need to change the processing date (must be day before) on an LRP and can’t get to the computer, call doTERRA customer service at 1-800-411-8151 (I have it saved as a contact in my phone) and they can adjust it as long as it hasn’t processed through the warehouse yet.
One Time Orders
A One Time order accrues no points on purchases. The only way to get points from purchases is through an LRP. There is also no minimum or maximum point requirements. You can keep the account open (keeping your points for a future purchase) by completing step 9 above.
- Go to www.doterra.com Clicking will open up a new window/tab.
- Login by entering your ID and Password.
- On the next landing page, you will select Create New One-Time Order.
- On the next page is the shop page. Select products as you normally would via the Shop Products tab above or by clicking on any of the image categories below. Select the products you wish to add to cart.
- Once finished selected products, hover over the cart icon and click on Review One-Time order.
- You’ll know you’re doing a one time order with the friendly green heading reminder above items in the cart. You can use your pv points in One Time-orders if desired.
- Continue to scroll down and follow shipping, payment info, and shipping selection.
- Scroll back up and review your order summary on the right-hand side. You’ll see there is no LRP Processing date and will be required to checkout that day.
